Earlier this spring, Meyers Norris Penny LLP nominated Rebel Heart’s CEO, Josh Laczko, for XL Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 list for 2017.

Canada’s Top 40 Under 40, which was founded by Caldwell Partners in 1995, is an award program that recognizes inspirational achievers in Canadian business under the age of 40. These achievers have shown leadership and vision, not only in business, but in the community through volunteering, mentorship, and charity.

MNP recognized Josh’s leadership skills in business through his success to simultaneously grow and develop Rebel Heart’s business in the Commercial, Industrial, and Residential market though the downturn. His leadership and vision enabled Rebel Heart to acquire two additional companies while staying viable and competitive during the economic downturn.

In addition to his business leadership, Josh was also nominated for spearheading several drives for worthy charities such as the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation, Hope Mission, and the United Way. Rebel Heart is also a proud sponsor of the Sherwood Park Steele, a local girls under 18 hockey team. In addition to providing financial contributions, Josh and Rebel Heart also contribute by donating time and services for many community events.

Josh has reached the shortlist, making the top 160 candidates thus far, and we look forward to July’s finalized Top 40 and hope to see him named! Josh is incredibly honored by the nomination, and grateful for those who continue to support him.
